Just got back from Chicago where I went to a funeral for my girl Ang's grandma. I've been to a few funerals in my life and most of them were pretty sad with people concentrating more on death. This one was more a celebration of Alma White's life. She had seven kids and twenty five grandkids. The church was packed with all the other kids that she raised in that neighborhood. I was fortunate enough to have met her last Thanksgiving and she treated me as if I knew her all of my life. That was Alma's gift. Making everyone feel like family. Now, she has left our family and will be sorely missed. After returning from Chicago, I started to prepare for the filming of our seven DVD series for the three YRG programs... YRG: Yoga for Regular Guys, YRG Plus 50: Large and In Charge, and YRG: The Fountain of Youth. We have over 26 different people in the seven DVDs that we are playing to film. By the way, there's no big company doing this for me. YRG Workout LLC is doing this by ourselves. We've hired the crews, the directors, the warehouse, and everything we need to do it the right way. You can only imagine the stress of filming one workout video set, so imagine what it's like to try to film three different sets...one right after another. We have people flying in from Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, and here in Los Angeles. Coordinating all of this is the President of YRG Workout, Alan Ludloff. I could not do this without Alan and Kimberly. I couldn't manage any of this without both of them on my team. To top it off, on Friday morning at 3:00 AM and at 5:00 AM, I woke up coughing up blood. Of course, my first reaction was, "Where the hell did that come from?" It seemed to stop, so I headed to do voiceovers for my next movie, Driftwood. I thought the bleeding had stopped until I did one of my scenes where I had to yell and blood hit the script. Of course, I immediately went to the doctor after finishing up. By the way, Driftwood looks great. My buddy, Director Tim Sullivan sent me to his doctor who took me right in and sent me to a specialist for ear, eyes, nose, and throat. When the doctor walked in, I said "Oh my God, how old are you?" He replied, "Yeah, I know...I'm Doogie Howser." Actually Dr. Jason VanTassel gave me a total overhaul and admitted me to the hospital that same night for throat surgery. Now, mind you, I have a couple hundred thousand locked into this video that we are supposed to start filming on Monday and this is Friday. They knocked me out on Friday night and stopped the bleeding. Right now, my throat is sore as hell. I probably shouldn't be talking and doing this email, but what the hell. It'll work out. I'll keep you hanging there and let you know how the video shoot goes next time I send out the email. By the way, if you're in the Orlando, Florida area watch for me at the WWL 6:05 Reunion at the Hard Rock Live. The show is on Sunday March 5th and I'll take on Chris Kanyon. The next day, I'll hit the Orlando Barne s& Noble at Waterford Lakes for a book signing at 7:00PM. You can find out all the details at diamonddallaspage.com. It'll be a busy week. I start filming this week for five thirteen hour days for the DVD series. I hop on a plane the next morning for Orlando to wrestle on Sunday and then there's the book signing on Monday. Then I hit Atlanta and back home to L.A. I'll fill you in on the rest next time. Be Unstoppable and do YRG while living life at 90% Diamond Dallas Page
