What’s up?

Well, we’ve finished wrapping the movie, Rob Zombie’s Devil’s Rejects. Actually brought Stone Cold with me to the wrap party who was, of course, a huge hit. There are some pictures of us on the site at the wrap party along with a few more shots from the set of the movie. There seems to be a really big buzz out there for Devil’s Rejects, as well there should be. I think the release date will be sometime in January, and I will keep you posted as things move along.

After the wrap party, I left for the Bahamas to do my first corporate inspirational speech called “An Inspirational Conversation with DDP.” I talked to American Insurance Marketers. These were the top guys and gals in the company. They put me up at the Atlantis Resort, which was one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. I actually ran into a young fan just after the speaking engagement. The photo is up on the site. His father sent in the picture along with a nice email. I got an incredible response from Mike White, the CEO, and all the people who came. At some point, look for me to begin distributing inspirational DVDs of my program.

I’ve got a lot of things in the works. I leave for Hawaii on Tuesday to wrestle for the HCW (Hawai’i Championship Wrestling) in a tag team match against Sting and the Great Muta. Brian Adams got me the gig to wrestle at Battle Hawai’i 2004 on Wednesday night the 21st at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center Arena. The show starts at 7PM. In other wrestling news, my first east coast appearance in over two years will be in Wayne, New Jersey where I face Kanyon on Saturday August 28th at CSWF CyberCade in the Wayne PAL Building. The next day in Hawaii we’ve got a surf expedition setup and then I’ll head home that night to head directly down to Comic-con in San Diego. I’ll be there with my brutha Barry Levine from Dark Horse Comics. They say this will be the biggest convention ever, running from Wednesday to Sunday. On Saturday, I’ll be signing autographs from 2 to 4 PM at the Dark Lite Sidewinder booth/Reel Marks in the R-9 section. Check out the Small Press Area between the DC Comics and Image Comics booth. If you want an autograph or want to get your picture taken with the World Championship Title, stop on by.

For any of you who watch ESPN out there, you may have heard Rob Dibble tell Dan Patrick that he was going to Iraq with Diamond Dallas Page. We’re going there to give the guys and gals a morale boost. They also talked about the match I had with Malone against Rodman and Hogan. I leave for that trip on September 6th.
