What’s up?
Hey Cutters
I want to start off by clearing up a rumor. Yes, there has been talk of me showing up at NWA TNA, but nothing has been confirmed yet. I think TNA has a really strong product with some great young talent and it has a ton of potential. We’ve talked about a couple of ideas, but nothing has been cast in stone. If that happens, I will let you know.
What a great weekend. Los Lonely Boys were in town playing at the Wilshire Theater to a sold-out crowd. Stone Cold and I, and a few of our friends, went to see them tear it down. If you haven’t gotten their CD "Los Lonely Boys" yet, I’ve been telling you for over a year now that you must get it. They’re coming up on selling their two millionth album, making it double platinum... way to go boys.
Also this weekend, my partner The Yoga Doc and his wife Jen, one of our Yoga babes who will be feature in our informercial... Yoga For Regular Guys were also in town. The main reason Yogadoc and his babe came out to see me was because we were both featured in a documentary film called Project Y. A guy named Nick, who I call Slick Nick, saw my picture in the Yoga Journal and called my buddy Marlin who is my partner on various projects. Slick Nick knew nothing about wrestling, but figured that, since Project Y focuses on all types of yoga, from the Buddhist priests in India who may have originated the concept to the modern variations practiced by people like myself and other celebrities such as Russell Simmons. The thing that fascinated Slick Nick the most was that a wrestler actually did yoga. I told Nick that most yogis are very “namaste” (a traditional yoga greeting) while my Yoga For Regular Guys is more “T and A"... I'm sure you can imagine where I'm going with that. When he found out that I had also modified my yoga to be more “guy-friendly” (more T and A... if you will) and Marlin showed him a pi ture of Billy Ray Snapper of Devil’s Rejects doing yoga, he said I have to have this guy in this movie. He showed the pictures to Kate Churchill, the director and producer of the film, who agreed.
We started with my morning routine of a ten-egg breakfast with Slick Nick which blew him away and then we went right to our Yoga for Regular Guys workout with a couple of our Yoga Babes, Jen and Kimberly, and some of our regular guys (Marlon, Andre, and, of course, Slick Nick). As I took them through the workout, my tag team partner, the Yoga Doc explained the benefits of the positions and helped each person improve their form. It was great Yogadoc and I have only done this tag team workout a few dozen times but you would think we'd been doing it for years. It went great. Afterwards, I took Nick to a quick weight-training workout where we finished off the filming. This will be an independently released film. I’ll keep you informed and updated as it moves along.
A couple of week ago I told you I was heading was heading to Zurich to wrestle. I want to thank the boys from the SWF for having me over there... Zurich is a beautiful country. I wrestled against Disco Inferno and we had a damn good match. So now after a good match with Kanyon and Disco I know that my old body has got one more good run in it. I look forward to my return to Zurich.
