Rich: And people tune in to see if he's right...

DDP: Yeah. (laughs) Beautiful!!

Rich: You know, the guy claims to know everything, but he's had like four different guys as the next NWO guy.

DDP: Yeah, he knows everything...I'm impressed... He knows nothing.

Rich: Is it true Madden lives with his mom?

DDP: (Laughs hard) Yes! He does live with his mom and I know that for a fact. Cornette got pissed at him and wanted to kill him for some of his comments. Jim called him and his mom answered the phone. Let's move on.

Rich: Where did the Diamond Dallas Page character come from? WCW?

DDP: Nope. When I first started to wrestle, back when I was a kid, I was Handsome Dallas Page...not that I still ain't handsome. I was really looking for something that was close to Classy Freddie Blassie, which to me is the greatest wrestling name of all time. That lead to Diamond Dallas Page, and the Diamond Dolls...and at the time, Yeah, I was banging them all. I was running wild and living Diamond Dallas Page's life. It's an exaggeration of my personality. I'm really not that much of a jerk...well, sometimes I am.

Rich: What was your best feud as Dallas Page?

DDP: The only feud that I have really been in that was worth it was with Johnny B Badd. We had wrestled on and off since we both started in the business. I thought we had a great chemistry in and out of the ring. I think that feud let us show people what we were capable of. I enjoyed working with him, but now I am really looking forward to this feud with Eddie.
