RichInKC:
Do you know you have a very big Internet following? There is even a Disco
Inferno web site called www.dinferno.com.
Glen: To
be honest, I've never really considered the on-line crowd to be an important
segment of the audience to get over with. I never had a computer and to
be honest this is the first typing I've done since college. I saw my website
for the first time a month ago, and,to whoever did it, thanks. It's pretty
cool.
RichInKC:
So...any chance of seeing you in the WWF soon? ECW? You would be a natural
for the protege Honky Tonk keeps talking about.
Glen: Not
until at least July when my no-compete clause runs out. Contrary to popular
Internet opinion I am not going to be Honky's protege, nor have I had
any discussions with the WWF about employment. ECW has a pretty busy schedule.
I'm not sure if I would like to work that much at this point.
RichInKC:
If you don't catch with either of those two feds, what are your plans?
Glen: To
continue working independents. There is money to be made and it is even
better than I would have previously thought. The Northeast has a lot of
shows and I would like to work up there.
RichInKC:
Have you ever thought of some of the Japanese or Mexican feds?
Glen: Japanese
- no. It's too far away. Unless the money was really good, I wouldn't
consider going. I would love to work in Mexico. From what I see of the
Mexican talent, the ones who are really over are very acrobatic. With
my charisma and character, I know I could be huge there even despite my
lack of highflying expertise.
RichInKC:
You mentioned, your character. Do you own the rights to Disco Inferno?
Glen: WCW
has made a claim to that character, so I will not be able to use it. Still,
there is a lot of things I do in the ring that aren't per say the Disco
Inferno gimmick, but are still pretty charismatic. For example, the animated
way I wrestle and the walking and talking.
RichInKC:
Big question...is it to safe that "Disco is dead" as far as the character
is concerned.
Glen: Dead,
but not buried.
